World renowned chef and television personality, Andrew Zimmern, was in Vicksburg wrapping up his third season of the web-based series Appetite for Life. The final two stops on his "southern road trip for good" were Anchuca (where he sampled the delicacy that is the tour home's cheese grits) and The Historic Klondyke Trading Post.
There were dozens of people gathered to welcome Zimmern and his crew at the Klondyke, including the Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church Choir.
Chris Burks, of KHits 104.5, was kind enough to lend his talents and conduct an interview with Zimmern before he headed out to one last radio interview in Jackson before heading to his Minnesota home.
