Retro Kitchen Remodel in Chicago - Chi Renovation & Design

The client for this project came to us with the unique design challenge of renovating their kitchen but with a 1950's retro twist. The kitchen location with an open loft space above is the focal point of the main space and the clients really wanted to create something to bring the space to life. The kitchen cabinets are all custom colored a retro shade of green and complimented by a light quartz counter and red accents throughout the kitchen. We were able to find retro themed appliances and used an apron style sink to flush out the design. The cabinets feature glass door wall mounts, under cabinet lighting, pullout drawers, and lazy susans. The subway backsplash and retro tile floor add the final touches to a space that is bursting with personality.
