On behalf of residents of Gometra Island, Don Staniford speaks up at the public hearing that would decide the placement of 16 more open-net salmon farms in the Island of Mull.
Raising the issues of diseases, parasites, peer reviewed science and the bad track record of the Scottish Salmon Company, he implored the council to do the right thing and turn down the application of 16 farms for the false promise of economic safety.
