Wead is the author of the New York Times bestseller, All the Presidents' Children. He served as a senior adviser to the Rand Paul and Ron Paul presidential campaigns and was a special assistant to the president in the George H.W. Bush White House. Dexter Yager and Birdie Yager, Jim Dornan and Nancy Dornan and others joined Doug Wead in the first of the Charity Awards events, many of which were preceded by White House receptions.
