Globally connected youth and educators!

"Connecting Through Youth Volunteerism" is a challenge for youth to use digital media (using web and/or video) to share their personal stories about best practices in "youth volunteerism." Youth publish a story online about an organization or special cause in which they volunteer their time to help (e.g. museums, parks, beach clean-up, hospitals, senior facilities, disaster relief, Humane Society, etc.).

Global SchoolNet's vision is to globally connect every student and every educator by 2020 through iPoPP.

Our mission is to support 21st century, brain-friendly learning, and improve academic performance through content-driven collaboration. We engage educators, and students in brain-friendly e-learning projects worldwide to develop science, math, literacy and communication skills, foster teamwork, civic responsibility and collaboration, encourage workforce preparedness and create multi-cultural understanding. We prepare youth for full participation as productive and compassionate citizens in an increasing global economy. Founded in 1984.
