There are reports of Capital One Financial Corporation going after customers who have filed for bankruptcy. Customers thought they'd be able to wipe out their debt by filing for Chapter 7 but Capital One has continued to track them down, demanding they pay what they owe to the bank. So why is the bank working so hard to collect money from a handful of borrowers? Good question considering Capital One isn't hurting, at all.
