Nobel Laureate Francoise Barré-Sinoussi on progress towards a cure for AIDS, including the so-called "Berlin patient" who was "cured" of AIDS by a bone marrow transplant.

In June 2011, Francoise Barré-Sinoussi, co-winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for her discovery of the virus responsible for AIDS, visited Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
