Heres a new artistic movement I'v been working on with Shea Brennan. Its a 50/50 combination of skateboarding and graffiti, we call it Skate Spot Liberation (or SSL for short?). Basically any time you modify your environment to make it better or more fun to shred you are doing SSL. Anything from fixing a crack with cement to installing a secrete skatepark in the woods can be considered SSL. Ideally the more permeant, public and unmovable the better. The tactics are up to you: stealth? strength? Secrecy? Imagine installing a nice easy hand rail in a public area thats the perfect spot, and nobody notices because you've done it so well! Tell me what you think and share your pics and vids. More to come in the future, thanks for checking it out!
This one might be a little bit bad but I will get better at them. I just need to put out #1 and I get momentum. This time I happened upon someone else trying to do some SSL a long time ago and I just cleaned it. What a good find! Other liberations I did: Waxed a ledge and swept. That was about it. MORE TO COME!
