There's certainly been a lot of iteration on this code since I started playing with XNA, but I really like what I have going here. The engine is rewritten (again!) but it's pretty efficient now. Even though the video doesn't show it, the game clips along at an even 60 FPS. Things like combat, NPC interaction and zone transitions are coming along. Its about time to start building the game proper!
