A Parody modeled after a Paul Shanklin's "Who Wants McCain" that is a Parody of CCR's "Who will stop the Rain". The iinstruments were all played by Tom White as well as the vocals. The Tim Kaine photo is a version of the "Tax me Timmy" doll which is modeled after Raggedy Andy (or Ann if you wish).
Tim Kaine became Governor and Virginia had a Billion and a Half Surplus. When he left office, he had watched as the surplus turned into a $4.5 Billion deficit.
On his way out the door, Kaine tossed out a "drive by" budget that raised taxes on almost everyone and everything.
The budget received ZERO votes in the State Assemble. Not even the Democrats wanted to own that smelly budget.
Governor McDonnell took over and turned the deficit into a surplus as Republicans are capable of doing WITHOUT RAISING TAXES!
During Tim Kaine's tenure as Virginia's Governor, he became the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and Virginian's came to know him as the Absentee Governor because he was always out of the state stumping for Obama and raising money as Virginia went down the tubes.
Now Timmy wants to be a US Senator.
This song is intended as a reminder of how Kaine screwed Virginia as Governor and is a good indicator of how horrible he would be as a Senator.
