This film is addressed to people who have courage and wish to convert dream to reality. It shows the transition of human from miserable, helpless state into admirable out-of-this-world entity done by science and his will.

The Torn Square was created in Russia in the middle of 1980s by the amateur group of talented animation cartoon artists, leaded by G. Lebedeva and I. Plaskin. It was created in pre-computer era when digital effects were not available yet.. However talent of G. Lebedeva and I. Plaskin and other people who work with them allowed this movie to win many international amateur movies competitions and to collect great collection of international prizes.

I, personally, consider this animation cartoon as the PEARL in the contemporary cinema and as the best 10 minutes I ever spent watching movies.
