Topping out at over 1000m with temperatures above 40ºC, Jebel Hafeet is a serious test. Click here to subscribe to GCN: http://gcn.eu/SubscribeToGCN
Located just outside Al Ain near the border with Oman, Jebel Hafeet will most likely decide the overall winner of the inaugural 2015 Abu Dhabi Tour. While it may not be the highest or the steepest, we think it's epic because of the immaculate road surface, the rolling bends and the incredible wide spanning views from the top. We must warn you however of the searing temperatures in the UAE at this time of year - don't go there without a copious supply of water, as the landscape offers little in the way of shelter from the searing heat, which is often above 40ºC.
