Eric Metaxas addresses the accusation that Hitler was a devout Christian. While it is admitted that Hitler used "Christian language" he did so only under an ideological premise: it met his political needs. To divorce his mission from a Germany deeply embedded in the theological tradition was suicide. Instead, he would use Christianity as a resource to further his agenda.
