The December 7th launch for Marilyn: Intimate Exposures by Susan Bernard was a fantastic, star-studded evening!

The event took place at The Largo at The Coronet and was filled to capacity, with hundreds on the waiting list.

The evening was hosted by PEN Center USA, Rare Bird Lit and Los Angeles Magazine.

Susan Bernard read onstage from her narrative, along with Thomas Jane reading her father, Bernard of Hollywood, and Rose McGowan reading Marilyn. A Q&A followed with Susan and Don Murray, the last living star to have worked with Marilyn (Bus Stop) and was moderated by author and screenwriter Jerry Stahl.

In addition, hundreds of gifts benefiting the charity ChildHelp, an organization for the prevention and treatment of child abuse, were donated by guests.
