Track 1 from Loretta's 2003 album, The Translation.

Loretta was a rock band from Indianapolis, IN. The members during the making of this record were:
Jason Weidner
Damon Weidner
Jeremy Weidner
Stan Muller
Jim Shaffer

Loretta formed in 1996 when Stan moved in with the Weidner brothers and we started making music together. In 2002 we signed a recording contract with the plucky and inept Benchmark Records in Indianapolis. The Translation was the product of that contract. Recorded at Blueberry Hill Studio in Nashville, TN by Ken Lewis, and mixed in Chicago, IL by Jake Robinson, the album came out sounding pretty good. It got good support at college radio and commercial specialty radio, and we got to travel around the country playing for people, but we never got to quit our day jobs. The label folded in 2004, and we would go on to make one more record on our own.
