Simple, easy Macaronage tutorial by Macarons & Mint. This tutorial was created to help with hollow macarons problem. Read below for some tips on how to prevent browning macarons

Oven temperature can vary depend on your oven. The oven temperature I stated in the video is based on my experiment with my oven, may or may not work for you. If you're comfortable at the temperature you're using right now but still get hollow macarons, try to raise temperature by 5 to 10 F and bake at shorter time.

To prevent browning when bake at high temperature, I suggest the followings:

1. Use heavy duty or aluminum baking pan to avoid too much heat at the bottom of the pan
2. Use silicone baking mat or silpat so when you rap the pan hard on a surface, macarons will hold their round shape.
3. Use a wooden spoon to crack the oven door open while baking macarons (many French chefs suggest this)
