VSO Nigeria is a non-profit organization with a mission of bringing people together to fight poverty in Nigeria. It is a part of the Global VSO family that envisions a world without poverty. VSO Nigeria has been operating in Nigeria since 1958. VSO Nigeria currently operates a youth centered country strategy. The ICS programme is part of the VSO Nigeria's youth development programme which is supported by DFID. It brings together young people aged 18-25 to undertake a journey of guided learning in poor communities to join the fight against poverty. TAP-YAN Project i.e Together Against Poverty - Youth Action Nigeria is an initiative of VSO Nigeria returned volunteers as part of their plans to take the fight against poverty to State, Local Government and Community levels. This video captures a bit on the achievements and beneficiaries of the various VSO Nigeria's youth volunteering programmes.
