Explantion: Why it works:1) The carbon dioxide in the beer lowers the freezing temperature of the beer.So when you whack the beer,some C02 escapes, raising the freezing temperature of the beer. Since the beer has already been in the freezer for a long time, along with the raised freezing temperature, the reult is that it freezes.2) The rising c02 bubbles provide as nucleation sites for crystal growth
