Chorealis vocal ensemble, in Vernon BC Canada, singing Somerset Wassail.

This English folksong was arranged by John Rutter. Wassailing is the custom of hailing the apple trees to get a good harvest, often around Christmas time.

It is practiced mainly in the west country (Somerset, Devonshire, Wiltshire, Gloustershire and Dorset) as this is the region which is famed for a tradition of cider making (notably Somerset).
