Townsend developed a business that includes four retail locations and a show room. Always looking for expansion opportunities, he started by expanding the operations' inventory to appeal to more retail customers by focusing on value and service. This helped sales increase from $7 million to $11 million between 2003 and 2009, and then to $19.3 million in 2010 after acquiring two more locations.
