Route Five recording artist Guy-Michael Grande's studio version of his song "Old Boulevard."

This studio version of "Old Boulevard" is featured on GMG's second Route Five release, So Much Of What I Wanted. Produced by Mark Thayer at Signature Sounds Studios in Western Massachusetts, the song features guitarists Duke Levine (formerly of Mary Chapin Carpenter's band) and Jim Henry (who currently tours with partner Tracy Grammer), bassist Richard Gates (formerly of Paula Cole's band, among others) and drummer Doug Plavin (formerly with Dar Williams). Background vocalists Indra Rios-Moore and Mark Thomas round out the sweet Gershwin-esque song, a perennial fan favorite since its early 00s debut.

"There's no denying the appeal of Grande's brilliant songwriting... lyrics subtly clever and romantically inclined carried along by his warm and reassuring vocals..." - Donnie Moorhouse, LiveWire columnist & WRNX-FM DJ

"Grande stirs the soul in that contemplative Paul Simon meets Jackson Browne voice of his... along with the sad and funny, he can quicken the pulse with the sensual..." - Jennifer Layton, Indie-Music.com

"So Much Of What I Wanted is so much of what any pop music lover would want... Grande's voice is smooth and warm. He has a nice humor and intelligence in all of his writing..." - Stacey Board, The Muse's Muse

"An engaging performer whose songs stay with you long after you hear them." - Neal Robinson, Manager, Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton, MA

Most recently, GMG has toured both in the U.S. and overseas in support of his fourth Route Five release, Wanderlust. Produced by Pat McInerney and Thomm Jutz - of Grammy winner Nanci Griffith's longtime band - Wanderlust was recorded at Jutz' Nashville studio featuring some of Music City's finest musicians: Barry Walsh (piano), Mark Fain (bass), McInerney (drums & percussion), Jutz (guitars) and songstress Rebecca Correia on backing vox.
