This video was created on demand... In this video I try to give a small tutorial on how to setup your GS2 or GS3 to play with a PS3 controller and displaying everything on a HDTV.

Find Steps on HOW TO:

In order to play NOVA 3 on your HDTV you will need the following:
1. MHL Cable -- (You can purchase this at amazon for about $10.00)
2. USB Po˙wer supply (Samsung Standard Charger)
3. AOKP based ROM -- Its better if you are still running Samsung's stock ICS ROM.
4. Sixaxis app from the Google playstore -https://play.google.com/store/apps/de.......
5. An Original PS3 Dualshock 3 controller
6. Mini USB cable to connect the PS3 controller to a computer.

Since NOVA 3 has no actual support for gamepads you'll need to get the SIXAXIS app. The sixaxis app will enable you to emulate a screen touch on your phone. In order for this to work you'll need to map out the onscreen buttons to the actual buttons on the PS3 controller.

Step1:
Open NOVA and change the control scheme so that it disables the use of the gyroscope and you need to enable virtual joysticks.

Step2:
Take a screen shot of the game while all the on screen controls are showing.

Step3:
Open the Sixaxis app and hit the options/menu button on your phone and select "preferences". A new menu will appear; select Touch Emulation

Step 4:
You'll be prompted with 2 options, select "Edit touch profiles". You'll get a grey screen, double tap it.

Step 5:
A new series of options appear on screen. You'll need to select first the Change background option. Navigate through your system files until you find the screen shot you took of the game previously.

Step 6:
Once the image appears you'll find that It's all messed up. Youll need to change the orientation by hitting the "Edit background" option. In it you'll need to select the "Rotate" option which is placed at the center of the screen.

Step 7:
You are now ready to start mapping out all of your buttons. Select the "Add button" option of the menu and you'll get a list of all the available buttons in the PS3 controller. Start by selecting the joysticks and placing them over the virtual joysticks on the screenshot. You'll need to repeat this action for each button you want to map to the game.

Step 8:
After mapping all the buttons don't forget to save your new profile with an appropriate name.

Step 9:
You'll need to go to the phone's system settings , select language and input and enable the Sixaxis controller option.

Step 10:
Once you are finished with all the mapping you'll need to pair the PS3 controller with your phone. In order to do this you'll need to download the sixaxis pair tool to your computer.
http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/si...

Follow the instructions on the site in order to pair the controller with your phone.

But in a nut shell what this app does is change the controllers mac address and match it with the phones Bluetooth address. In order to get the phones address you'll need to open the Sixaxis app on your phone and look at the bottom of the screen; you should be able to see a small grey message saying "Local Bluetooth Address:" and a serial number. You'll need this serial number. You need to enter it in the computer Pairing app. (keep in mind that for all these process you need to connect the PS3 controller to the computer via a mini USB cable)

Once you have completed this steps you need to unplug the controller from the computer and select the start option on the phone's Sixaxis app .

The controller should pair with the phone.

If the controller has been paired you'll need to select the "Active touch profile" (select the profile you just created for your NOVA3)

And you are good to go.
