50 is so out of touch and refuses to ever grow up and evolve as man.. He's the biggest hater in hip hop.. He's still wrapped up in the childish macho hood values.. That's not what these other successful 40+ year old rappers are about now.. Nas, jay, dipset, wu tang.. They've grown up, had families and values have changed... They wanna make good music and they evolve with the ever changing hip hop culture... 50 is such a one trick pony... Get over the beef and street life ways.. 50 is a transcendent artist who's now a real adult and and had his been there done that beefing ways earlier in his youth... His lack of evolving and growing up has made his music irrelevant because he won't adapt the modern hip hop landscape.. He's still stubbornly caught up in gangster rap which he's not that good at making anyway at this point and that's not hot right now... That right there fuels his energy to start shit and put ppl on blast instead of showing love for the music and being to grown up to deal with the bickering... He's not in a good place emotionally and this is the only way he knows how to stay relevant... But this is getting old and its just a microcosm for his lack of personal growth and ability to evolve.. Instead of bitching about artists who have grown up and evolve, get in a better more mature state of mind and maybe ur music will have a refreshing sound instead of the forced hard core shit that were all sort of sick of with 50 cent

+ChrisSmooveSplashMan I like 50 but when he talks or raps I can't understand what he's saying because I know after he got shot his talking was kind of hard for people to understand what he was saying.  but I like both 50 and Jay.

I don't think Jay is afraid of anyone. I thinks it's more that he is so far ABOVE these midgets that why stoop down to their level.  Jay Z has so much to loose that he'll be a "FOOL" to address these street beefs.  He owns a private jet that his wife bought him for 40,000,000 dollars and countless Mansions and Estates and he's going to fight somebody who is broke??? Let's wake up!
+Damen Heyward If you're insinuating 50 cents broke or underneath Jay then you can stop right there. B/c last i checked 50's worth atleast 150 million so it's not like he's some up an coming artist here.

I like 50 and Jay (you can guess by the picture haha) but i disagree with Fif' on a lot of things in this interview. This same "where i come" and "you have to adress everybody" attitude is what made him fall off in the first place. Case in point, when he was going at Kanye in '07 and heading into an artistic decline ever since then, he had already dissed damn near everybody in New York's rap scene, Jay, Nas, Jada, even out of NY, he was going at Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, so when he was falling off, he had nowhere to go, no connection with a major league rapper to put him on the map again and to score a big radio single (50's a mainstream artist, radio airplay is his bread and butter). One of the reasons Jay-Z never fell off is because he's a smart, strategic guy, and didn't spend his time and energy on beefs with Cam, Budden, Beanie, and other dudes. Responding to everything and everybody doesn't mean that you're manlier and braver than somebody, it means that you're just easier to provoke. With that being said, i don't know why, but i would love to hear a real collab between Jay and 50 Cent! I guess i always thought it was a dope idea lol

kanye shrug so pretty much Jay a bitch, he the reason why soft as "rappers" like Drake are around , they like to sneak diss. The reason why I fuck with 50 is because if you come at him he gonna address you. Em is the same way, the hip-hop industry is straight up terrible right now.
