A political analyst says that the funeral ceremony of Hugo Chavez shows that he was basically supported by the people who want to create a regional bloc in Latin America and Caribbean in opposition to the Western powers. This is while over 30 world leaders, including Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have paid their respects to Hugo Chavez at a high-profile funeral held for the former Venezuelan president in Caracas. The funeral ceremony for Chavez, who died on Tuesday at 58 after a two-year battle with cancer, was held on Friday.

Press TV has conducted an interview yesterday with Issac Biggio, expert on Latin America, to further discuss the issue.
