Kyle Northrop. Long and gnarly Blueridge Mountain run drops 1200 feet with speeds over 40mph and hairpins galore. This is raw downhill skateboarding footage shot with a Sony Handycam on an improvised roof rack mounted, passenger-operated camera rig. The rider started from the third turn of the top section. Rider is on a custom XLR8 speedboarding deck made in North Carolina, USA (NOT some factory in China) with Bear Smokey trucks and Abec11 wheels. Danny Way broke a speed record, but I would like to see him try some of these turns!
