Dandelion Day is one of the longest running traditions in the University of Rochester's more than 160 year history. The dandelion is one of the symbols of the University and this festival named for it is a celebration of spring that traditionally takes place just before the end of the academic year. For students and faculty alike, it's a welcome break from the stress and pressure of a long year, and an opportunity to gather one last time before the classes are over.
