This is an example of how cigarettes were marketed on television in the USA before they were banned. This is really 2 commercials in one, Raleigh & Belair. Both brands gave you coupons on the pack to redeem for all sorts of goodies & household items. A pack of smokes back then was less than 50 cents, so it took a TON of coupons to get a toaster. Smoke a couple of million cigs and you would have all sorts of crap for your next yard sale.
