Joe Liggins' "The Honeydripper" was the biggest R&B hit of 1945, a certified million seller. Cab along with Jimmie Lunceford, Roosevelt Sykes and The Delta Rhythm Boys plus numerous other acts, covered this massive crossover smash on November 15, 1945.

Cab's version of "The Honeydripper" failed to emulate the success of Joe Liggins' original, but comes with exciting solos by Ike Quebec, and a stratospheric Jonah Jones.
