More Oregon high school basketball:

Lake Oswego's Calvin Hermanson is coming off a superb junior season in which he was named Class 6A Player of Year and put on a dazzling performance in the playoffs, helping Lake Oswego reach the state title game. Heading into his senior season, the 6-foot-6 wing still thinks he has room for improvement.

"There's a lot of things I can work on still," Hermanson, who plays for Cutch Players AAU during the summer, said. "Ball handling, consistency, jump shot, everything; you always can get better."

Hermanson and Clutch Players participated in the 2012 Rose City Showcase at Lewis & Clark College over the weekend, matching up with some of the top AAU teams in the area over the three-day tournament.

As one of Oregon's top players in the Class of 2013, Hermanson has drawn interest from several west coast schools including Gonzaga, Washington State and Oregon State.
