This video is showing the process of creation of the 1:1 scale model of Twister - a parametric wall created at "APX+201.3". Twister was automatically generated with the help of a specially created Grasshopper definition and was build by hand from 400 Ytong blocks. Some of them are rotating in a specific way and are partially painted, so that APX+ can be seen by distance. APX + is an architectural workshop which is gaining more and more popularity since it is the only one focused on digital modeling, parametric design and fabrication in Bulgaria. It is organised every summer by Hristo Topchiev at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Varna, Bulgaria. In 2013 tutors were Leonidas Paterakis, Emil Burulyanov and Hristo Topchiev, all graduated with Masters degrees at IAAC, Barcelona. The workshop was attended by 30 students and was supported by VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Xella Bulgaria and Orgachim, which were sponsors of the event.
