This was pretty popular back in the day in arcades in 1991 and was ported to several platforms since then such as DOS, Sega CD, Philips CD-i, and 3DO. The Sega CD, Philips and 3DO versions are all horrible. I can't speak for the others.
The hit detection is garbage, the graphics are so grainy that seeing who's doing what in a timely fashion tends to be downright impossible, and the game can even switch things up making it more agonizing. You can't even tell who's an innocent bystander and who's a bad guy half the time and it's one of the worst games you can buy for the 3DO. It might look somewhat viewable in this video (mind you, this is ENHANCED visually from the Sega CD game), but it looks so much worse stretched on the T.V. (a moderate 27" in this case) that it ain't funny.
We don't have too many deaths in our videos, but we somehow survived within the recording time and edited the video down to fit our deaths so you can see certain aspects like the ridiculous way bad guys can get hit and how you can shoot them on time and still get killed because you didn't shoot em' JUST RIGHT. The deaths are funny the first time around, but you'll likely witness them every minute. The acting and setting is otherwise reasonable for the time. Enjoy.
