"The Double: An Archetypal Configuration" - Mitch Walker Gives A 35th Anniversary Reading of His Pioneering Jungian Paper - An event sponsored by the Uranian Psychoanalytic Club on March 5, 2011 in West Hollywood, California.

In 1976, the Stonewall Rebellion was seven years old, the Briggs Initiative to fire California public teachers was still to come, and Jungian psychology was for the most part vigorously homophobic, when Mitch Walker's groundbreaking, homosexually-affirmative paper, "The Double: An Archetypal Configuration," was published by the esteemed Jungian annual, "Spring," the first by an out gay author in all of Jungian literature to that point. In this video presentation, Mitch will read this historic article, share some memories and conversation with the audience, and discuss where gay Jungian psychology has come in 35 years and where it might be headed.
