At least two people have died and many more were left injured after an overpass collapsed in World Cup host city Belo Horizonte. The flyover, which was under construction, fell on top of a busy highway, crushing a passenger bus and two unoccupied lorries. The bridge is just two miles from the Mineirao Stadium where World Cup games are being played and the city is due to host a semi-final match next week. It is not clear why the steel and iron structure caved in and no workers were thought to be on site when the bridge fell. Rescue operations are now underway to prevent the overpass from further collapse. Report by Sarah Kerr.
