+bowenblanket I carry a phone jammer for that shit. Love the look on those people's faces when suddenly they realize nobody is listening on the other end. "hello? hellooo?...."

It's funny how Larry is always right. He does what we'd all love to do in these situations and, unfortunately, he always gets fucked over for it.

So true, he just has no filter and that's why I love hi so much. Legend.

One of the most brilliant scenes ever on that show!! "I've got Steve on the other line," had to be made up on the spot, it was so spontaneous! I have actually done what Larry did on the show, though not in a restaurant, and it got the other guy good and mad. And they all do the same thing; they have to tell the person on the phone about the "asshole" that's bothering them, lol!

That's why you need a gimmick, handheld or earpiece-like thing--since to any outside observer, it will appear to be the exact same thing.

It's not only the "new generation." My parents are in their mid-50s and are apparently incapable of understanding why playing games and watching videos on their iPads without headphones annoys me. It's not a generation thing, it's a consideration thing.

+monotonous Agreed. And ignore the trolls.

I'm old enough to remember the days when if a guy was talking alone like that it meant he was schizophrenic.
