I had to refill my soaps and thought I would share how I save a little money on my dish soap and some expensive hand soap that I love.

I always cut these soaps by 50 percent with water in order to make them go a little further. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but over time these things cost money and in a situation where we may not have access to things like this, knowing how to make them stretch will be important. Doing these things now make them second nature so that when we HAVE to do them they do not seem foreign or out of the ordinary.

Give this one a try. I promise you will not even notice a difference! In fact you might be surprised at how far your dish soap and hand soap will go if you lighten them up a bit with water.

The hand soap I use originally was from Bath and Body Works and had a foaming pump top. You have to thin out the soap anyway in order for it to go through the pump. So think about that the next time you are spending the same amount of money for the "foaming" hand soap as you are for the "antibacterial" hand soap at that store! You are actually getting less "soap" because they have already thinned it out for you! Why not do it yourself? Get some soap you love and make it last.

I hope you try this and I hope you love it!

Happy money saving!
