*B and Nick sit silently staring at the phone for a moment before the line clicks and plays a busy signal*
(Nick) Did she just...
(Bailey) Yup...
(Nick) and she's...
(Bailey) that's what she said...
*Nick closes the phone*
(Nick) well ok then... better go give mom and dad the heads up
(Bailey) wait, you don't think she is serious do you? Shes not coming all the way to Jersey...
(Nick) *laugh* did she sound like she was joking?
(Bailey) YAY! Miles is coming *claps*
(Nick) *mocking sarcastically* Yay! She is gunna kick my butt when she sees you...
(Bailey) why? You didn't do it
(Nick) ugh yea...Miles is like family,if that happened to her Id expect a call
(Bailey) True...HA u r in trouble.....*snicker* but YAY Miles is coming!!
(Nick) *rolls eyes* be right back going to tell mom and dad

*Nick jerks awake, Be is burrowed deep in his side still asleep*
(Nick) *rubs B's back* Bailey...wake up
*B flinches awake and moves back up to her spot on Nicks shoulder*
(Nick) another nightmare??
(Bailey) mmmm *sleepy*
(Nick) we are telling mom about those in the morning, calling the doctor
(Bailey) mmmk
7am
*B jerks awake yet again, waking Nick with a jolt*
(Nick) ok...that has to stop
(Bailey) *pout* Im sorry
(Nick) its not your fault, we have to let mom know she needs to call that ER doc and make sure that's normal...see if there is something we can do about it.
*B and Nick stumble out of bed and down the stairs, Mom is sitting at the counter having a cup of coffee*
(Mom) well, you two are up early
(Nick) B is having nightmares...bad ones... she keeps jerking awake, can you call that doctor and see if that's normal
(Mom) *gets up and grabs a business card from the fridge* Ill give him a call and see what he has to say. *Mom called and left a message*
*Nick grabs the box of cheerios and a new box of crunchberries from the pantry*
(Nick) Hey B, *shakes the crunchberries at B*
(Bailey) YAY, when did we get those?
(Mom) I bought them yesterday morning
(Bailey) sweet
*Nick pours a bowl of cereal for B and himself and sits down to check his bloodsugar and log his carbs*
*Phone rings, it is the doctor*
(Phone convo)
(Mom) Hello?
(Doctor Casto) Hi, Mrs. Jonas? This is Doctor Casto, I just received your message, how is Bailey doing?
(Mom) well, during the day I think she is doing fine, she is still having some headaches and seems to be rather groggy throughout the day though.
(Doctor Casto) That's fairly common she took quite a blow to the head and suffered a grade 4 concussion.
(Mom) ok, my reason for calling was actually to ask you about her sleeping, she is having bad nightmares.
(Doctor Casto) yes, unfortunately that is also a common side effect with a concussion, the brain is a very intricate organ...the slightest change can often effect a lot of things...there is swelling so it doesn't surprise me that she is having nightmares, in fact they are probably much more vivid than usual. Considering how she attained the trauma she also might be suffering a bit from post tramatic stress disorder.
(Mom) Oh my...well what do we do about that?
(Doctor Casto) Unfortunatly, at least for now while her other symptoms are present, I can't really recommend any type of sleep aid or anything, right now it's a waiting game, try to make sure she gets lots of rest, the body heals faster when its well rested. Make sure she stays hydrated and is eating, and continue with Tylenol for any discomfort.
(Mom) Alright, thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly, I really appreciate it.
(Doctor Casto) Not a problem, just give me a call anytime if you have more concerns and tell Bailey that I hope she gets to feeling better.
(Mom) I will, thanks again *click*
(Nick) well?
(Mom) Nightmares are common with a concussion; he said they will probably be more vivid, and that B might be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.
(Nick) what do we do about it?
(Mom) nothing, right now he said we wait, lots of rest, stay hydrated and eat, Tylenol for pain.
(Bailey) fantastic
*doorbell rings*
(Mom) what time is Miley supposed to be here?
(Nick) she said 10
(Mom) might be the PSA crew..although they arent due for another hour...
(Bailey) I'll get it
*B hops down off her stool and runs to the door swining it open*

(Miley) OH MY JONAS *mouth open in horror*
*B's eyes widen, Miley walks past B, drops two bags to the floor and takes off her hat*
(Miley)*crossing arms over chest*well...someone want to tell me why B looks like a lifetime special?
