This week (12/21/10) I look at every museum open now and ask if the price of admission is worth it. In part 1: John Baldessari at The Metropolitan Museum; Chaos & Classicism at the Guggenheim; Sigular Visions, Paul Thek, Charles LeDray & Edward Hopper at the Whitney; Yoshitomo Nara at the Asia Society; Peter Greenaway at Park Avenue Armory; The Spanish Manner at The Frick Collection: and Shifting the Gaze and Houdini at The Jewish Museum. Most all are closed on Christmas, but open all other regular hours. The Two Percent is a website that gives contemporary art recommendations in New York City.
