This is a quick video of the new Lowrance Elite 7 Ti which will be available in February 2016. This unit is touch screen (not multitouch) and has some buttons for the main functions. The menu is just like the HDS Gen 2 and 3 units with a few less features.

This unit has the HDI Skimmer transducer connect but the new TotalScan transducer which will have SideScan as well as DownScan and CHIRP sonar will be available.

The unit was very quick and responsive. The only lag notices was changing pages but we had a Platinum+ chart in and were recording sonar logs. For the average angler how doesn't need full networking capabilities the Elite Ti units are a great choice
