Hello Friends! Building on the success of the award winning film "Thank You Tanzania" we are pleased to offer you a small teaser of our latest documentary "Dancing in Dagbamete", currently in post- production.
On March 12th, 2008, internationally recognized choreographer and director, Sarina Condello led her seniors group of "Vintage Dancers" to a remote region in Ghana to perform for over 3,000 villagers in the Togbi Apetorku Spring Festival - Ghana's largest celebration of life, good health and prosperity in the small village called Dagbamete.

Along with Canadian royalty Sharon and Lois (from Sharon, Lois and Bram fame) the twelve Canadian Jewish dancers (and one Mennonite) ages 62-73 years old, discovered the power of community, the spirit of dance and the resilience and courage needed to embark on this Ghanian journey. Filled with flat tires, road blocks, animal sacrifices, rope bridges and of course, the extremely oppressive heat of Africa, these vital Bubbies show the world that age is not a barrier to experiencing extraordinary adventures.

Please have a look at our trailer on youtube and let us know what you think about it. As we are in post production we are also looking for potential partners to take this film to the big screen. If you have any friends or contacts that you think should see this, please pass it on!
