A group of protesters sat on the floor and linked their arms in front of the Senate chambers as the Senate was debating the budget bill. They chanted for a while and then the police told them they had to leave, that they were only allowed to protest on the ground floor. Most of them decided to stay linked in defiance of that order and were arrested. They were given citations for disorderly conduct. This corner of the Capitol is dark and they kept bringing more and more troopers in to stand in front of those with cameras and video recorders, so it was very difficult to get good footage.
