The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is spread around the world and it is often very well known within individual countries and territories, but under various names and visual identities. This made it difficult to recognise the programme internationally so the new international visual identity was designed. The Czech Republic is one of the first countries adopting it.
The five colours represent the five sections of the programme and make a colourful spectrum which will bind the DofE Award family closer together.
