Street start 15KPH to 300 KPH with excessive wheelspin in first, and a slow shift to second, and dead on hereafter. For comparison, this car is even with a Veyron in terms of acceleration up to this speed.

Also, I let off the gas in first to reduce the wheelspin, before shifting into second.

GPS are not that accurate either (due to the 5m-20m range relative to you). A friend of mine working for a magazine used special equipment on a Gallardo and at 250Km/h it was actually going 242km/h and we are talking about a Gallardo. Naturally at 300Km/h it should be going less than 290Km/h.

On most cars yes, but Corvette gauges (C5 and up afaik) are very accurate. The tolerance is always about 0.5~1 km/h according to my gps with all Corvettes I've driven (stock wheel diameters of course).

Awesome! It accelerates even more fierce than a ZR1! What is the setup on this one or more importantly, what supercharger and boost is it running and what was needed for reliability? I'm planning on upgrading to a C6Z and to SC it, but I hear a lot of bad vibes on LS7s with FI.

@alyousuf Oh to have an M6 tranny! some of us were stuck with an A4....top speed of like 165 @ 6k rpms ONLY if you don't go with shorter gears, which most do. You can probably cruise @ 160 in 6th @ like 2300, right? you bastard, lol

You do realize that 300KPH on the gauge/counter is like 270 real right ?
