18-25 April 2015 WORLD PREMIERE! Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em by Raymond Allen, adapted by Mark Campbell directed by Mark Campbell
Fun for all the family. Accident-prone Frank Spencer takes us through some classic moments from his hilarious life in a brand new stage version of this classic 1970s sitcom. From undergoing an RAF aptitude test ("Just put the wood in the holes!") to being interviewed for a bluecoat's job at a holiday camp, Frank's own brand of naive ineptitude is unique. Watch as he meets Betty for the first time at a bell-ringing course organised by Father O'Hara, share his joy at his baby daughter's arrival into the world ("It's a boy!") and thrill as he totters helplessly out of control on roller skates, it's all here—just as you remembered it!
Altogether now: "The cat's done a whoopsie in my beret!"
Cast: Steve Padgham, Daniel O'Brien (Frank Spencer), Louise Ody (Betty), Michael Taylor, Kevin Coward, Darren Cullen, John Hyde, Linda Gay and Gary Heron (Ensemble)
