NewsWorking donated 2 Ballistic Vests through the Hounds on Working Leashes (H.O.W.L.) in Allentown, Pennylvania.

This video shows the K-9's getting measured for their new vest. The new vest is bullet and stab proof and provide protection for the dogs vital organs. They needed to work the dogs a little to make sure they get the right size vest and that the dog will be able to comfortably work with it on.

The vest were donated to the Catasauqua and Salisbury Township, PA. Police Departments.

K-9 "Fonzie" a 74 pound German Shepherd for the Salisbury Township, PA Police Department. His handler is Officer Jason Laky.

K-9 Jack "the ripper" is an 86 pound Belgian Malinois for the Borough of Catasauqua, PA Police Department. His handler is Officer John Wiseman.

Hounds on Working Leashes is a non-profit organization that raises money for working dogs. They are currently raising money for Ballistic Vests' for Police K-9''s.

James Kutz, Lori Kutz, Robert Ford and Dustin Wentz run the organization. Newsworking is happy to donate the first 2 vests' for this new start-up organization.
