按現行使用牌照稅法第28條第1項規定，逾期未完納使用牌照稅之車輛，在滯納期滿後，使用公共道路被查獲者，除補稅外，處以應納稅額一倍之罰鍰。並免再依同法第25條規定加徵滯納金。
