FYI. This video was made in the first few days I had the iCare tonometer. Shortly after that I stopped using the forehead brace. It took too long to get to the correct position and there's no need for it. I just use my index finger to stabilize it and adjust the distance from the patient. Another tip that someone on Optcom suggested that works well is to tell patients that they won't feel it (they won't) but it might tickle their lashes if they blink. Some patients will blink reflexively because they see it moving but even they say they don't feel it.
