Our panel of experts discuss what the appointments of John Kerry (State), Chuck Hagel (Defense) and John Brennan (CIA) will mean for American foreign policy in the next four years.

Topics range from intervention into Syria to use of Predator drones to responding to Iran's development of nuclear weapons. The host, Michael Scharf, served as a State Department official in the Bush and Clinton Administrations. The panelists include Col. Michel Newton, a military expert and JAG officer, who served as Deputy Ambassador for War Crimes Issues at the State Department; Shannon French, formerly a professor at the Naval Academy who now heads the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence; and Milena Sterio, an international law professor and human rights expert.
