With a slick shimmy, Mosca rolls off his Numbers ace onto three Teched-out swingers for Martyn's 3024 imprint. 'The Wavey EP' is about the most Techno-oriented release on the label so far, implying a deep lineage connecting strands of UK Garage, Funky and House with a stripped down warehouse aesthetic. A-side is the inimitably shifty 'Dom Perignon', a heads-high roller built from squashed subs and clipped drums synced with the kind of offset dub stabs you'd more likely hear from Sweden's Skudge or MRSK. Flipside, 'Orange Jack' puffs up the chest for a more haughty New York skip and swing - slashing string stabs knit with wooden pecussive accents and swooping subs to irresistible effect, while 'Jäger' goes heads-down into full-on Techno mode, kinda like a more streamlined R1 Ryders. Pure badness. Big TIP!
