This video presentation is called "Where Nature Rules" and contains amazing photos from the Faroe Islands - probably the most curious place left on earth according to New York Times - and, according to National Geographic Traveler, the most attractive island destination in the world out of 111 island communities.
The music in the presentation is Faroese, composed and sung by Elin Brimheim Heinesen "Eitt dýpi av dýrari tíð" (An Abyss of Precious Time) (http://www.heinesen.fo). The lyrics are written by the Faroese author Jens Pauli Heinesen. Read the lyrics in Faroese, English, Danish and German at this link: http://www.heinesen.fo/fljod/a_popula...
The film won 3. Golden City Gate Prize at ITB in Berlin 12. march 2009.
OBS! For those who are interested in Pilot Whaling in the Faroe Islands, please note: Nothing will be achieved with aggressive remarks targeting all Faroese. You're just damaging your own cause if you choose to throw insults at other people.
