On Friday November 16 and Saturday November 17 2012, The Royal Ontario Museum and Vancouver Aquarium present Canada's Oceans and You, a National Ocean Symposium taking place in Toronto at the Royal Ontario Museum.

Speakers from across Canada and the USA will be showcasing their research about Canada's and the world's oceans. Topics include Canada's deep oceans, shark conservation, killer whales, and our emotional connection to the ocean.
There will also be a panel of experts discussing sustainable seafood, as well as a screening of the new film "Revolution" by Torontonian filmmaker Rob Stewart ("Sharkwater").
